Family Fun Day

I've been meaning to post these for a while now...

We went to the Gaylord Family Fun Day on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago, invited by Deda and Poppy.
It was a nice way to spend our morning, let the kids bounce their energy out, gather as many plastic carnival-type toys as they could, and eat a free lunch. No complaints here. They love the slide... I'm not sure Poppy loved getting all four of them UP the slide. It was quite the chore, but coming back down was a BLAST.

5 (long) mins of work...

for 3 seconds of fun! Totally worth it.

Watching them inside this bouncy tent was HILARIOUS. They were absolutely THROWING themselves around/in the air/upside down. They didn't care how they landed or who they landed on. So funny.

They attempted a few cheapo carnival games before realizing you don't have to play the games to get the prizes, they were basically throwing the prizes out. So they skipped the games and started loading up with loot!

Cale loved these little suction cups. He carried them around in his pockets for days, randomly attaching them to his hands for a few minutes and then taking them off so he could see the circle impressions they left, lol.

Good times were had by all. It was just enough to wear them out for a nap, so we could spend the rest of the night at Brian & Stephanie's for Family Game Night (ok, technically, we aren't family- but close enough). So. Much. Fun. Bear made new friends of the twins, for sure. :) Competitive games, great food... 'twas a fabulous day all around.
