Living room picnic =)

For LP's birthday, we told her she could pick whatever she wanted us to do as a family that night to celebrate. We thought for sure she would pick Red Robin, Chuck-E-Cheese, or even McD's Playhouse but she wanted Marble Slab. For a week she'd been saying she wanted to go to Marble Slab for her birthday. But when yesterday came, she finally said what she really wanted (like she was afraid she wouldn't really get it!) was to get Sonic and take it to the park for a picnic of all things! Of course, we agreed, but by evening the wind was picking up and rain was on it's way so unfortunately we had to tell her she would have to pick something else. Well, she decided she would still like to get Sonic and just have a picnic in the living room. She was thrilled with the picnic part and the fact that she thought of it herself, so we made a big deal of it and even let her turn on a movie while we ate (BIG deal... even though she payed ZERO attention to it!) and we got her an oreo sundae to top things off. She got to open two presents from Mommy & Daddy and Brynn & Cale - she just thought it was the grandest thing!!!
