This was the first time we've ever done a manufactured party of any type. Most of you know that I LOVE to plan parties, I put a lot of thought and time into every last detail, but I also stress over all those little details! L had her heart set on Monkey Joe's this year and it wasn't that much more than we'd normally spend on a party and heck, we didn't have to do a darn thing! Literally. We showed up with the kid and the cake! Zero stress. Zero clean up. Kind of loving it, I gotta say!
We... yes, we... played for an hour or so before making our way to the private party room. Monkey Joe himself came in to say hello and bring Layla a t-shirt. She would not have minded if he had missed her party, I'm pretty sure. Then we had cake and opened presents, then back to playing! Some had to go, but a lot of us stayed, and literally played until the kids were falling over from exhaustion :)
She has talked about it non-stop so I'd say it was a success!
