Playgroup.

I actually find this picture from yesterday's playdate quite hilarious. 1- because everyone is holding not only their own child, but also someone else's and 2- because every time one kid would sit down, another would run off so it literally was a "grab and go" picture which I think is written all over our faces!

Brea is taking the picture. Kelly is holding her son, Nathan, and also Brea's daughter, Mary Elizabeth. Cale is in front of me and I am holding Allison's daughter, Charlotte. Brynn is next to us. Allison is holding her preacher's daughter, Jayden, and also her other daughter, Norah =)

I think the twins are really, really enjoying these playdates (as am I!). Other than Sunday School, it's the only chance they get to play with other kids their age. They happen to be the oldest of the group by a couple of months and I'm always a little afraid they will bully the others, but they seem to be really caring and gentle... so far ;) I think it's really important for them to have these opportunities to interact with other kids in families built like their's that look like their's; and I think it's important for me as a mom to have the opportunity to interact with other moms in families built like our's that look like our's! We all deal with similar situations and have similar questions and it's really nice to know that you have a safe place to share those. I hope we can continue to be a part of it and thank you, ladies, for including us!! See ya next time and on FB and the BCS boards and everywhere else we come in contact =)
