And the Oscar goes to...

Give you ONE guess.

Apparently, Layla was completely unaware that she had a cold. A very. common. cold. That is, until I told her after she asked why her voice sounded funny when she was jumping up and down (as three different people, using three different voices) pretending to jump over the moon. Oh, the drama that ensued!

True story: She then wrapped herself in a blanket and wandered aimlessly throughout the house for a good ten minutes gasping for air and dramatically (fake) coughing and sneezing until she could stand no longer and literally collapsed to the ground. I kid you not. She then demanded I take her to the hospital before she dies.

After I assured her she would be fine in a couple of days with a little TLC from Mom and Dad and some rest on the couch, she suddenly became paralyzed and realized she would not be able to help clean up today and would need to reside on the couch for the rest of the day with remote in hand. That should last a good 20 mins or so. Oh.. and could I please take her picture. Hahaha. That kid cracks me up. But brother decided he would feel better perched right there too so why not?

With a little more Robitussin and maybe a hair brush, I think they are gonna be ok. Please excuse the giant knot on Cale's forehead. Cold's don't make little boys slow down for very long. And yes, that's a headband on his head. He wears it daily.

I just recently found your blog and am really enjoying it! I have three girls all through adoption, two of which are trans-racial. My oldest daughter is 4 and sounds every bit as dramatic as yours! The other day I told her she was going to be disciplined and she replied "O no... if you do that I will crack up and blow away and then there will only be Josee" (her sister) I relplied through laughter " well, we can't let that happen now can we"... needless to say she didn't get disciplined :)
I look forward to reading more of your posts!
blessings!
