Brynnie's first injury.

During a rather vigorous rendition of the hokey pokey, B got her self a little too excited when "turning herself around". She just kept spinning until she crashed and her top teeth split her bottom lip wide open and I mean WIDE open (somehow it also tore the little piece that connects her top lip to her gums... you know the part I'm talking about). It was really gross actually, bled for a good hour. She was a trouper though, Layla or Cale would have been hysterical if it had been one of them. She sat still while we checked it out and applied pressure to stop the bleeding. She held her little ice pack on it. It was pitiful =(
She probably could have used a stitch or two but we're weird about stuff like that so we didn't take her and it's healing up pretty well. This pic was taken two days later.

Edited to add: While playing pirate ship this morning, Brynn was thrown overboard which resulted in the lip splitting back open. Arrrg.
