I hadn't had any real interest in the Wills and Kate mashup. I'm happy for them and all that jazz, I just didn't care much about actually watching the event. That is, until MY princess said, "You are getting me up to watch the Royal Wedding, right?". Ha. I didn't realize she even knew about it. Well, if we're gonna do it, we're gonna do it right! Perfect memory-making opportunity!
We laid out our princess dresses and tiaras (and high heels) the night before. We made mini muffins & tea sandwiches and readied our finest tea cups.
I actually set up the DVR to record the wedding, I figured we could get up a little early and fastforward to the good parts without the 3am wakeup or hours of watching arrivals, etc.
Yes, I am wearing my wedding dress lol. It's too big, but it was the only dress the girls deemed appropriate for the occasion.
We had our "fancy" breakfast while we watched.
The prince even joined us a little later on :)
We had a lot of fun and the girls are still talking about it!
