Uncle Casey (my little brother) graduated high school!!!

He and I will be going to college together in the fall- How cute is that? Pretty sure he's thrilled ;)

Lu will be moving on to second grade!
We were invited to awards day last week and were VERY proud to watch her receive the Citizenship Award for being a "model student".
Her report card came today. I asked her what she thought she had earned... she said, "Probably Bs, if I'm being honest. I lost interest in my school work and probably wasn't doing my best"... says the child who is simultaneously reading Moby Dick and Huckleberry Finn.
Strait As- all year :) And a good citizen to boot!
