When I was younger, I used to say I was just going to shave my head and start over. I knew that would never actually happen, but for about a year, I've been secretly hoping to cut it all off. NEVER thought I'd really do that either.
Reasons behind the cut:
1) It
2) I have always had the SAME hair. No style, just shorter or longer. Blah. I wanted something cute and fun!
So... off it went! It isn't exactly what I wanted, but I don't even care! In an instant, I felt... free? Sounds so dramatic when you are just talking about hair, but I FINALLY felt like myself for the first time since I don't know when. And I liked me!
My whole attitude has changed, ha. Can hair really do that? It's just hair! I feel sort of glowy and dare I say, confident?
Most of the men-folk don't love it (knew they wouldn't, boys are boring). My brother said, "I HATE it. But you still look really, really pretty. I mean that." Lol. I'll take it! However, Nathan- LOVE LOVE LOVES it. And I can tell he really does, he's not just saying it so I won't get my feelings hurt. Plus, he's loving the change in me that came with it.
,
Sorry, guys. But I'm keeping the hair (with the exception of having it a little longer on top). It's fun, it's healthy, it's EASY, it's ME. :)

Love it!
I absolutely LOVE it! I've had my hair that short, but I wore mine spiky. I'm a big big fan of it!
I have debated for YEARS about doing this to my hair. I love it on everyone that I see it on, but I am too much of a baby to actually do it to myself. I try and say that it's just hair, but I know me and I know that I will be a absolute mess if it doesn't turn out to look exactly like Twiggy. You rock this look! Now, tell me how to find the guts to do it for myself!!
I love it! Found your blog from Kelly's...going to read your adoption story :)
