Some L stuff

Layla Paige has been one busy bee!

Girl Scout Cookie sales are O.V.E.R. (There are tiny little cheerleaders doing cartwheels in my head!). We still have a few more deliveries to make, but we will find out next week where she landed with sales in her troop. I know her total was just under 400 boxes, which is great for the troop account... not so much for our bank account in relation to gas prices.

She's still competing regularly, mostly pageants for charity right now, and she's getting more and more comfortable on stage every time! At Cupid's Cuties last week, I thought she did her absolute best ever! She looked beautiful (as always), but she looked like she was having fun AND managed be poised and graceful on stage. The only thing holding her back right now is attire, but her new custom-made dress (birthday present from Deda & Poppy!) should be here any day!

She's had a lot of fun this week at school with Dr.Seuss' birthday. They've been doing silly things every day. Yesterday was "Crazy legs".

She has also been working very hard on a project with her daddy in honor of "Oh! The Places We Will Go". She was to choose anywhere in the world she would want to go, make a project of some sort to represent it and present three facts about that place. Her's is really coming together! She chose her location herself and already had her three facts ready to go! Pretty proud :)

All this "daddy time" has her taking up new interests, "coincidentally" similar to those of her daddy! The other day, I found her with Cale's toy rifle... she was playing "Top Shot" {a weapon-related reality show that Nathan watches}, lol.

Also, she specifically asked that I post this picture.

She did her hair by herself for school for the first time today... love that she decided to rock out a side ponytail :) Growing up tooooo fast!

Wow, she's old enough to do her own hair? Wow.
And you know how beautiful I think she is!
