Front row memories...

Before this day is over, I just have to say one more time to my fellow P's... happy TEN YEAR anniversary! Yes, it does make me feel a wee bit old when I realize that wonderful night was ten whole years ago. But it was enough of a thrill to last a lifetime. I still get wide-eyed thinking about that acreaming, smoke-filled opening, being squirted with a watergun by the coolest boys we'd ever dreamed of, holding up our "Kiss Me at Midnight" poster, leaving the Hardrock menu (with our phone numbers), mouthing every single word to every single song. It was TOTALLY worth an entire morning in line at Tower Records and endless hours of practicing choreography. Yes, there were some tragic moments to- like my decision to wear that lime green turtleneck and the fact that we froze standing outside waiting on them to load the wrong bus, but we've grown up a lot since then. Ten years, one sweet husband, and three precious kids later... it is STILL one of the best nights of my life. Plus, I know not-so-deep-down, we are still those giddy, giggly, bright-eyed girls at heart.

Girls night- The Rockettes!

Mom and I took Layla Paige to see the Rockettes last night! I almost cried watching her precious little face light up with excitement and awe. She never stopped grinning for at least the first 20 minutes. It's all she's talked about all day today... every few minutes she'll come tell me her other favorite part. So far, she's talked the most about the little dancing snowmen, the multiplying Santas, the rag-dolls (They came down the aisle and stopped right next to Layla. She FROZE when one of the Rockettes whispered 'Merry Christmas' to her and tried to shake her hand)! When we got in the car at the end of the night, she said, "Jesus being born was the just so amazing!" (The show has ended with a live nativity since it's start in 1933). She couldn't believe they had real animals! It really was fun to take her and see her enjoy something so much. I hope it's something she remembers that we can do together for years to come.

Bethany Christmas Party.

Saturday was the annual Christmas party at BCS. We try to make it to all their events throughout the year. I think it's important for Brynn and Cale to feel comfortable with the journey brought them home and know other children who made it home the same way they did. Plus, it's been a lot fun watching all these families grow over the last couple of years! We had not even made it in the door when the kids made new friends... Laney and Jonathon never left their side and we are planning a playdate soon. The five of them were just precious playing together! We tried to do a group picture in front of the Christmas tree, which is never an easy task. Some of the little ones were screaming and mine just kept walking off! Unfortunately, I didn't get a decent picture. It was hard to wrangle kids and work the camera at the same time. I guess the one or two shots I did get were at the exact same time as everyone else, so all the flashes going off really messed with the lighting =(



The triplets have grown SO much. They were only 12 weeks old the last time we saw them! So sweet!
