I attempted piggyback braids for the first time! (Holly... that YouTube site you posted was SO helpful, she is GREAT! Everyone should check this lady out. She is another adoptive mom who has taught herself how to do her daughters' hair and started posting videos with tips and instructions on how to do different styles and they are awesome. I am nowhere near as good as her, her braids are beautiful, but hopefully with LOTS of practice, I will get better! Thanks, Holly!)
Anyway, this was my first attempt at piggyback braids. Again, B's hair still isn't quite long enough in some spots but I think it came out ok? And it didn't take that long, which I like! I STILL cannot get my parts strait... but a lot of that has to do with a wiggly 2-year-old, I'm sure... at least that's what I'm telling myself.
Here she is being silly right after we finished (glad to be out of that chair!):
And in better light after sleeping on it two times:

They look wonderful!!! I'll have to try that style soon. :)
super cute!
Hi, I just stumbled upon your blog from the bump and I have to say your story is quite wonderful. I am trying to listen to Him more and I love seeing how your family came about through doing just that.
Now, these braids are too cute. I am so glad I have a boy because doing little girl hair intimidates me :)
