Sweet!

One of Layla's Kindergarten "graduation" gifts was a box full of Gigi's cupcakes for the whole family.

The kids were thrilled. My swimsuit was not.

Regardless, all those delightfully fluffy calories provided some pretty sweet pictures of my munchkins.

Houston, we have a first grader.

I'm a little behind, but no less proud.
Layla's Kindergarten Celebration was a little more than two weeks ago now. She was just beaming! And had quite the fan club there beaming right along with her!

Here she is accepting her Kindergarten completion certificate in her way too high wedge sandals that she can barely walk in but HAD to wear because they make her look "at least 7 or 8 years old, Mommy!"... (just FYI, she has gotten much better in the shoes).

Back in the classroom, she received two special awards: one for MOST LOVEABLE :) and the other for MOST BOOKS READ! Their goal was to read 100 books during the school year. Five students did that, and Layla read 203!

This child LOVES to read. She has been fascinated by books since she was very, very small and I am so grateful! We are even more grateful that she had an awesome teacher this year that LP just ADORED. Layla has always truly loved to learn, but Ms.V has got her hooked big time. We were amazed by Layla's progress and I was lucky enough to get to spend some time with her class on field trips/parties/etc. so that I could see her work her magic with all these little sponges. The woman has clearly found her calling.

Nonie and Pap came to see me "graduate".

Deda came!

Ba and Ge came...

Mommy and the babies...

Bring on the first grade!!!

Meet Zoe :)

This always happens...

We can't have our "real" baby right now, so we end up with other baby things to care for. Hence, Zoe.

She is a pretty cute stall tactic. Albeit, a little crazy. In a fun sort of way. And the kids (and Nathan, don't let him fool you) LOVE her.

Revolution Church!

Check out mine and Nathan's bio on the website for Revolution Church as we begin to introduce our core team!

The site is looking SO good! Only 93 days until launch! Take a look around and if you live near here, we'd love to see you September 12th for our first day :)
